MOVING TOOLS: SHOOT REMOVER
The shoot remover is a winemaking tool that removes shoots from the vines to promote maturation of the shoots providing the grapes. This is usually done in spring, from budding to flowering.
Our shoot remover has major benefits compared with equipment using straps: the quality of the work is matchless, even when there is a little too much maturity, and the branches are always severed level with the vine. The excellent resistance to wear of the loops means a better cost price per hectare. The low rotation speed means you can safely place your hand between the vine and the loops when it is operating at full speed.
Technical features: cable rotation diameter: 500mm; loop wire diameter: 10mm.
Driven by tractor hydraulics: motor speed: 150 to 300 rpm; oil flow required: 15 to 30 l/min.
HIGH QUALITY WORK AND OPTIMAL SAFETY
The shoot remover is a cultivator tool (link to intercep holder page), and can be attached as you see fit, on our tool carrier or directly with its standalone holder, on the side bars of a vine plough.
Working height: 150 to 500 mm depending on number of sprigs and extensions.
